President’s Corner
Spring is a time for renewal. The trees are
beginning to bud and homeowners are coming
out of hibernation. It’s time to celebrate the end of
winter and look forward to sunny days. The Spring edition of our newly revised OABL newsletter is here! In it, you’ll find updates on hot topics and helpful tidbits. Hopefully, it will become a communication tool you find beneficial and are eager to receive on a quarterly basis.
I would like to give a special thank you to everyone
that worked so hard to clean up after our
recent ice storm. When temperatures begin to
rise, the county will be out to repair potholes as well as assess the grass and curb repair caused by the plow truck.
Thank you for your patience. We are looking forward to a great year, neighbors!

2023 Projects
This year, our focus will remain on the goals set at our 2022 Fall Annual Meeting. The final railing along the middle set of stairs within the wooded trail and repairing the deteriorating trail between BLDE and the wooded trail head north of Scenic Court will be completed. Last year, all entrance walls were cleaned, resealed, and painted. This was the beginning of a multi-year project to enhance/repair our entrances. Our goal is for all entrances to look similar and pop with color, giving The Oaks at Beach Lake a wow-worthy first impression. We are currently discussing this work with several vendors. The plans include the Jacoby entrance receiving a complete makeover, while the Scenic Court and Kensington entrances would be refreshed. Potential vendors, design plans, costs, and project timelines will be shared at our Fall Annual Meeting. Your review, feedback, and approval will be very important in this process. This project would be completed over a 2-year period and begin next Spring.
